Dear Member/Supporter,

I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Chairman of Bramhall CC. Some of you will know me already from my involvement with the junior teams over the past couple of years and I am looking forward to meeting many more of you over the coming season.

Further to Boris Johnson’s announcement this evening we are looking forward to welcoming you back to cricket at the end of March. We have been planning, as usual, for the start of the season and will be ready to go with a comprehensive junior and senior training programme as soon as we are given the go ahead.

Our grounds team have been working hard over the winter months to ensure the pitch is ready and despite the incessant rain and recent snow, the square is looking in great shape:

We have lots of plans for continued improvements to the ground and the clubhouse and we will be in touch in the weeks and months ahead with more details, including:

Grounds Maintenance
We have undertaken a detailed assessment of the existing drainage and are planning a 2-stage improvement programme to ensure that our beautiful ground remains an excellent quality home for our club for many more years.

New BCC Kit
We have signed a new long-term deal with Serious Cricket to provide our club clothing. More details to follow this week, including discounts and a competition to design our new match shirt.

As soon as we get the go ahead to start outdoor training we will be in touch with membership renewal details for the coming season. As always, we welcome new junior, adult and social members.

Following a very enjoyable summer of cricket last year and the recent feedback received from our members, we have decided to improve our clubhouse offering and opening hours. We are looking forward to many al fresco afternoons and evenings as soon as the sunnier weather allows and will be in touch soon with more details.

Take care and we hope to see you all soon,

Sarah Smith and the BCC team.
