Welcome to Bramhall Cricket Club. Established in 1886, and steeped in history, we are one of the most successful clubs in Cheshire. Bramhall CC won the 2001 National Club Championship at Lord’s and were 2016 National Club T20 Finalists. The club boasts a thriving junior section with facilities and opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.
Previously based in Bramhall village as part of the Queensgate Sports Club, the Cricket Club moved to a picturesque greenfield site at Church Lane, close to Woodford, in 1998. Since then, the ground has matured and developed and now plays host to Minor Counties fixtures of all ages. The facilities are some of the best in the county with a superb four-lane net facility, practice grass wickets and fully licensed club rooms, which are perfect for private functions such as birthdays, christenings and weddings, and are available for hire all year round.
We look forward to welcoming you to Church Lane soon.
Safely open for the 2021 season
We are pleased to confirm that some club facilities are now accessible, allowing safe training and matches under the guidance of ECB protocols. Should you not have received an email, it can be found here on this site.
To ensure that we can continue to play cricket at our beautiful ground we urgently need to raise money to improve the drainage. The future of cricket at our club is at risk if we do not invest in significant new drainage at the end of this season.
Junior Cricket Fridays
Friday night is the main Junior Cricket evening where matches and coaching take place at Church Lane, and we also offer hot food and snacks to complement our range of drinks to ensure kids and their parents are happy!
We are very grateful to our 2019 club sponsor, Nationwide Engineering, for their fantastic support.
Please visit their website to find out more about the services they can offer to your business.
More information to be shared here once details for private 1-2-1 coaching at Bramhall CC in 2021 is confirmed.
